Email API pricing. At cost.

One price for transactional and broadcast email. $20 a month includes 200,000 emails and unlimited contacts. After that you pay what Amazon SES charges us: $0.10 per 1,000.

  • Unlimited contacts, added one at a time

$20 / month, or $200 / year

  • 200,000 emails included every month
  • Then $0.10 per 1,000, exactly Amazon SES's price
  • Unlimited contacts and bulk import
  • Daily cap rises as your domain warms up
  • Extra sending domains $10/month each

No per-contact pricing. No volume tiers. Transactional and broadcast emails share one allowance on one bill.

What "at cost" means

SendForAI sends through Amazon SES. On its à la carte pricing, SES charges $0.10 per 1,000 emails. That is the rate you pay for every email past your included 200,000. We don't add a margin to it.

The business is the membership. $20 a month pays for the product: the API, the MCP server, domain verification, warmup, suppression lists, unsubscribe handling and the event log. Because the membership is flat, your price doesn't rise because your list did.

Above 1 million emails a month

Two more costs pass through, both published and neither marked up:

Sending more than 5 million a month? Email hello@sendforai.com.

What you'll pay

Monthly totals at common volumes. Transactional and broadcast emails count the same, so add them together.

What's limited on Free

The free plan is for building and testing. Its limits are what keep shared sending reputation clean for everyone:

When an agent hits a limit, the error says which one, when it resets, and what upgrading costs, so it can ask you instead of failing silently.

How agents read the price

Pricing is part of the API, not just this page:

curl https://api.sendforai.com/v1/pricing

{
  "ses_per_1k_usd": 0.1,
  "free": { "monthly_emails": 3000, "daily_emails": 100, "domains": 1 },
  "member": { "monthly_usd": 20, "yearly_usd": 200, "included_emails": 200000, ... },
  ...
}

The full API is in the docs.

Pricing FAQ

How much does SendForAI cost?

Free covers 3,000 emails a month (100 a day). Member is $20 a month or $200 a year and includes 200,000 emails a month with unlimited contacts. Past that, each email is billed at Amazon SES's price, $0.10 per 1,000.

Is transactional and broadcast email priced differently?

No. Receipts, sign-in links and newsletters all count as emails against the same allowance on one bill. They are sent on separate streams so a newsletter complaint can't hurt your password resets, but the price is the same.

Do you charge per contact?

No. Contacts are unlimited on both plans and cost nothing to store. You pay for emails sent, so a large list that you email rarely stays cheap.

What does "at cost" mean?

Every email past your included 200,000 is billed at exactly what Amazon SES charges us on its à la carte pricing: $0.10 per 1,000. Our revenue is the flat membership, not a margin on sending.

What changes above 1 million emails a month?

Two pass-throughs start: a dedicated IP at $24.95 a month (AWS's price) and $0.02 per 1,000 on the emails over a million, our measured infrastructure cost. Both are published and neither is marked up.

What are the limits on the free plan?

100 emails a day and 3,000 a month, 1 sending domain, 1 day of logs, and contacts added one at a time (bulk import is a Member feature). Broadcasts on Free must fit inside the daily cap. The daily cap is permanent on Free; it is what upgrading removes.

Is there a volume discount?

No volume tiers in either direction. The price per email past your allowance is SES's price at every volume, so it never goes up because you grew.

Can my AI agent check the price before it sends?

Yes. GET /v1/pricing returns this page as JSON. Every send and broadcast response includes a cost object, dry_run returns the cost without sending, and max_cost_usd makes the API refuse anything that would bill more than you allow.
